It is now 32 years since Kundeling Rimpoche conceived to serve Tibetans and Indians before incorporating the Trust. And 28 years precisely in 2022, the ACT became legal as an organization. It would not be an overstatement to affirm that the Trust is the only legal entity in South India. Given the limited funds, the human resources and activities may be minuscule. The primary benefactor to the ACT among the limited few singled out is the Atisha India / Tibet Funds Netherlands, a secular organization promoting like-minded goals.

From the support schemes for Indians and Tibetans within the Northern Karnataka State since 1994, the sick, juveniles, and the elderly have received help. Since the Trust relocated to Mysore City, free meals, health schemes, medical tools, relief funds and rehabilitation programs have received support. We presume that the support schemes undertaken for underprivileged Indians in south India by a Mahayana Buddhist Trust and Monastic community are the first of their kind. In 2010, the Trust acquired its landed property to build the Kundeling Monastery.

Since 2013, the ACT has gained momentum in many of its cherished goals with its acquired boarding and administrative premises property. From 2013 onwards, new projects have since begun, such as sponsorship of the Government Higher Primary Schools (GHPS) run by the State Government, provision of health boosters, stationary tools, uniforms and other accessories useful to their development. Allopathic Medical Camps are run quarterly in collaboration with the Sai Baba organization, along with a Chinese Medical Camp provided twice annually. Other sponsorship schemes continue for individuals and organizations involved.

The Trust has offered funds towards disaster management of the Tsunami in the past as of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021. Besides projects related to 'Handouts' consisting of warm clothes for winter. Raincoats for the rainy season, school bags and other items from Europe distributed annually to school staff and students alike. Two major religious sacraments are annual celebrations during which edibles and drinks are amassed and later distributed to the population in the Village of Arasinakere.

The Kundeling Monastery has been and is the principal undertaking of the Trust, as per the bylaws and approval of the State Government and the Income Tax Department of India, since 1996. The upkeep in terms of spiritual and secular education, boarding, meals, clothing , health, excursions and recreation is the primary undertaking of this Trust. As foot soldiers, the community of the Kundeling monastery are on the frontline to all tasks and shouldering the responsibilities to realize the spiritual and secular goals of the ACT.
